    Drivers are just cretins with little idea of how to actually drive eg – Mondeo man overtakes the cyclist and then has to brake immediately: what difference would a few more seconds behind the bike have made? Tiny Cock Syndrome, I'm afraid.

    Has anyone noticed how unhappy these people are? They seem incapable of enjoying their cars, even though they're dry, warm, and fast.

    If cars are supposed to be so brilliant then why are drivers so consistently miserable and mean-spirited? They're almost always right wing, selfish idiots. I wonder what causes them to get that way?

    Not all are that way, but enough.

    I think te basic reason for the anti-cyclist vitriol – if we discount
    our own goals – is congestion. Drivers hate seeing cyclists riding
    past so freely. Goes against their view of the world. Is unnatural so
    has to be derided.
